|
| For Congregations | Under the
Members page we have added a link to the
Proposed Bylaws. All members and those considering membership in ADIIM are
encouraged to read them.
We have added a Testimonial Page. The purpose of this is to share the stories of congregations who have already gone through the Intentional Interim Process with others who are facing a time of pastoral transition. We are asking for the stories of anyone, Lay Leaders, Regional/Area Staff, and Settled Pastors, who have followed an Intentional Interim. Please follow the link to the left. Thank
you,

Welcome to the web presence of ADIIM. ADIIM is the result of a gathering of Disciples of Christ Intentional Interim Ministers at the Interim Ministry Network, Inc.'s Annual Conference who, seeing the benefit of some strong regional groups and associations of Intentional Interim Ministers, decided it was time to form a denomination wide association for the benefit and betterment of all churches. Although still very much in the planning stages we have three main objectives. 1. To create a network of mutual support, information sharing and prayer among all Intentional Interim Ministers in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the USA and Canada. 2. To educate the church in it's three manifestations, local, regional, and general, to the unique purpose, benefits, and uses of Intentional Interim Ministry. 3. To create and maintain a set of acceptable standards for members while keeping well within the standards, procedures, and the Ministerial Code of Ethics of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the USA and Canada. As well as those accepted practices within the Interim Ministry Network, Inc. Another goal is to achieve recognition as an approved ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the USA and Canada.
I hope you will check back often as we continue to grow and establish ourselves.
